Hi, I'm Herman Xie

I am a software engineer that mainly uses Angular, TypeScript, and Nodejs. I worked for Fidelity Investments and have around 4 years of professional software engineering experience.

Outside of software engineering, I also enjoy exercising. I enjoy all sports, but the one I'm currently addicted to is pickleball! I also enjoy gaming, some of my main games that I always come back to is League of Legends, Apex Legends, and Valorant.

I have always enjoyed problem solving and debugging code. I enjoy making progress I love the eureka moment you get when you solve a problem that you spent an absurd amount of time on a challenging problem.
